Healthcare-focussed PR firm GCI launches MidEast operation

Dubai: The speciality healthcare-focussed communications agency, GCI Health, has extended its footprint to the Middle East, at a time when the medical services market is expanding rapidly.

GCI Health will integrate with Asda’a BCW’s current healthcare team, which will now operate as GCI Health Middle East. “The launch enhances our capacity to deliver exceptional health focused communications when governments are investing significantly in healthcare infrastructure,” said Kristin Cahill, Global CEO, GCI Health. “We are delivering a significant value-add for our clients and healthcare partners in the region.”

GCI Health Middle East is being led by Kath Kerry, President - Europe & Middle East, who has over 20 years’ experience in global healthcare communications. Kerry will partner Sunil John, President – Middle East of BCW, to lead the existing regional team.

“GCI Health Middle East brings the celebrated global healthcare communications competencies of GCI Health to our region, where we already serve health ministries and some of the largest healthcare providers, pharmaceutical and MedTech companies,” said John.

GCI Health recorded significant growth in revenue in 2020, led by an increase in demand for specialist PR services.
