Traffic cop gives parking ticket to crashed car
If you are dispirited at the gloomy start of the day and take yourself to be the most unlucky person on earth, then you are probably wrong. A car driver in Bolton suffered double loss after he crashed his car and was also issued a parking ticket as he waited for tow truck to arrive.
The 'heartless' traffic warden was captured in a video as he slapped a parking ticket to the driver who was waiting for his crashed car to be taken away. The video is claimed to have been recorded by the other driver involved in the accident who tried to stop the warden from issuing the ticket. The other driver points out to the warden that the car is damaged and cannot be moved, according to Daily Mail report.
The supposedly other driver can be heard telling the warden: "Just so you know this car has been involved in an accident, as you can see. This gentlemen still thinks it's acceptable to stick a ticket on it. What a nice guy you are."
He then shows the warden the damaged car's front wheel, saying: "Still you think it's acceptable to stick a ticket on this car you horrible, horrible being."
However, the warden still places a ticket on the car's windscreen before telling the man to 'have a nice day' and walks off. The video was posted on Facebook by the mother of the driver who was issued a ticket: "My son was involved in a crash this morning whilst waiting on tow truck this happened.... share away pls."
Since being posting on Tuesday, the footage has been viewed more than one million times and shared by more than 46,000 people. Several criticised the warden's inhuman act and slammed him for not understanding the driver's situation even after seeing the damaged car. One Facebook user wrote: "Definition of jobs worth - an official who upholds petty rules even at the expense of humanity or common sense". But there were some who were on the warden's side and said he was just doing his job.
