Abu Dhabi: Bangladesh have the won the toss and skipper Mashrafe Mortaza has promptly decided to bat in their Asia Cup Super Four match against Pakistan at the Shaikh Zayed Stadium here. The wicket has a bit of grass on it but runs onboard in a pressure match is always a plus. Gulf News is covering all the action as it is happening with inputs from our Reporter N.D. Prashant:
Bangladesh has brought in Soumya Sarkar in place of the struggling Santos. The absence of Shakib Al Hasan due to the fractured finger is a setback. Momin-ul-Haque comes in his place. Rubel Hossain is also in.
Pakistan replaced fast bowler Mohammad Amir with another left-armer, Junaid Khan, from the match they lost to India by nine wickets on Sunday.
The winner of this game will meet title holders India in Friday's final in Dubai.
