What Meghan Markle wore to celebrate the Queen's birthday
This is what we call royal style.
While it’s not clear exactly where Britain’s Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex, went for their honeymoon, we can tell you they’re back in action now.
The newlyweds attended Trooping the Colour over the weekend, the annual military parade that celebrates Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday.
You’ll be thrilled — though probably not surprised — to hear that Markle looked gorgeous in a pale pink Carolina Herrera number. It’s custom, of course, and apparently goes against royal protocol with its off-the-shoulder cut. Who’s worried about that when she looks this lovely?
Besides, we’d still call it a reasonably conservative cut.
Here’s another look at Markle’s outfit:
Please note the Philip Treacy hat (quite similar to the one she wore here, for her first post-wedding public appearance) and the very glam loose waves in her hair. It’s a winning formula.
Also spot Markle’s fellow duchess, Kate Middleton, in icy blue Alexander McQueen and a Juliette Botteril hat. Gorgeous.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at Trooping the Colour in their own carriage, as you can see here:

Looks to us like they’re settling into their new life very happily.
If you’re inspired to try and find something similar for yourself, there are Carolina Herrera stores at The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates right here in our own city.
And if details of the Duke and Duchess’s honeymoon do emerge, you can rest assured we’ll let you know.
