Ski Dubai is hosting the UAE's first-ever Para Snow Sports events. The World Para Snowboard World Cup is on today. Aside from the Paralympic Winter Games every four years, the World Cup events are the highest level of events in Para Snow Sports. It's free to watch, so head on down.
'I'm Loving Street Art' has been drawing the city's art and music enthusiasts to Boxpark and will take a final bow this weekend with an original art exhibit that has been assembled by street artists and an art workshop for all age groups. Other attractions include face painting, child-friendly tattoo stations and a DJ.
Leading Indian musicians Shankar Ehsan Loy and Neeraj Shridhar are on at Bollywood Parks on November 9 and 10 respectively - and you will be able to enjoy their favourite soundtracks against a stunning backdrop of the Raj Mahal. The 'Big Zee Diwali Festival of Lights' will also feature rides and attractions.
Chef Altamash Iqbal is at the Ritz-Carlton, DIFC, for Diwali. He's overseeing specialty restaurant Cara, sharing the culinary traditions of his Northern Indian hometown, Lucknow until November 13. Try the Murgh Dum using julienne ginger, saffron and fresh chili, alongside a sprinkle of turmeric and red chili!
Art fusion night
Tonight will see the Capital Club, DIFC, transform into a melting pot of creatives for the Art Corporate Social, which will showcase live painting sessions with fine artists Andrew Scanlan, Victor Sitali, and Anastasia (Art by ZAS), as well as accessory painting with Ola Khalid and a live sand painting session with Luc Marin. It starts at 8pm and is Dhs150 including two drinks and canapés.
